I have gotten several emails from guys asking where I have been and why I have not been posting. Well I apologize guys but I have been really busy lately. I have had a ton of online pro shop work to order, drill and ship and then some issues at home (fuel pump on my truck, full brakes, rotors and calipers on my wife's car) and then of course there was this little thing called Christmas....see how I used the full word and not the abbreviation? :-)...Just for you Dave ;-)
So now that things have settled down a bit I'll be back and ready to go....
What have I missed??? Anything new?
I can add a few things to some Buzzsaw news to make it an appropriate topic in this forum :-)
Had the opportunity to throw my Golden Nugget on our US Open qualifier shot Sunday. The shot is basically a big Christmas tree with no freebies to the right. Ball specs: GN 4-1/4 x3, weighthole in thumb quad, BCB 4-1/2 x 2-1/4 weighthole on PAP
I started with the Nugget up 10 and it worked ok. Hit was a little weak so I figured I'd try the Black Cherry instead. Well to my surprise the Black Cherry did not budge...yes folks that's right...it didn't move. I put some surface on it...quick scuff with a burgundy scotchbrite...still nothing. So I put it away and went back to the Nugget.
The ball worked really well but I was way too erratic with hitting my mark and my spare shooting.
So in short I retract my statement that the Nugget will NOT hook more than a Black Cherry but I do reserve the right to say they are pretty close. I suspect my experience had something to do with the drill patterns as well.
SO guys...I'm back!!!! Let's get to it!!!
