Question about the Bullet
« on: March 29, 2005, 01:37:32 PM »
I am in need of a dry lane ball, and am thinking about getting a Bullet. I just want to know how it compares to some other dry lane balls. It seems like it is a great ball, but i want to make sure it is going to get down the lane when they get very dry, as  I do not want to spend alot of $$$ on a dry lane ball if it is going to hook  too much. And if it helps I have higher than average speed and pretty high revs.
Thanks alot, any information at all is greatly appreciated.

Definitely goes long and mine doesn't snap but its not drilled to either.  This ball won't cover many boards unless your crank it on 60ft of bone dry wood.  The Hit is amazing for such a weak ball I can't express that enough.  This baby has save my butt in league more than once.  Its a must have for dry lane ball must have.  I am probably getting another one soon since I don't have a reserve of it like I do the others.

I don't remember if Jesse threw his while I was there during our last get together, but I did see another guy use one in league.  The hit was very good, but it seemed to be more ball that I would have liked for dryer lanes.  I didn't throw it myself, so it's only an observation.

I did throw mine tried to point it off the ditch but there was to much oil for it I couldn't get back to the 1-2 pocket. Its currently my comfort go to ball in both leagues.
