Silver Diamond NIB.
« on: June 03, 2007, 10:45:42 PM »
I dont want to upset anyone but I have just landed on an absolute bargain.

I am now the proud owner of a NIB Silver Diamond. I had one and it was almost past the numbers in resurfacing. It also had 2 big repairs on it but I still loved it.

I was so shocked to walk into a centre while being non playing captain of my senior team (too young at the moment)and find one just sitting there on the shelf. It had a £100 price tag on it. Cheap for a ball in the UK but it gets better. I asked what he would be willing to let it go for and I got it for £70 NIB.

It now proudly becomes my one and only NIB. I will only drill it when my original falls to bits but I had to let all the Lane 1 bowlers know how lucky I felt.

Gotta agree with Barry.

I've never been big on Lane1 stuff, but I did find one of these, single drill, for $35 (locally).

Had it drilled up and the ball is a real nice ball....gotta give props for that.

But on eBay that ball would make a killing!!

I am tempted to sell it but I love my original sooo much and it has a bit of a whiter appearance on the top of the ball. Not quite as silver as the rest of the ball, so it may not make as much as it should.

I still cant believe that no one ever bought it at such a low price but then not everyone knows how good it really is.
