Drill for my Emerald and Pro Purple.
« on: October 11, 2005, 04:27:18 AM »
I'm getting a used Emerald and am thinking of how to drill it.  I want a layout that will give some midlane but cut the back ends down as much as I can.  I'm thinking of using the Girard layout.  Pin below thumb, offset slightly toward track, with CG in palm; pin to NAP about 40% of Pin to PAP.

Any thoughts?  Any other suggestions?

(I happen to like screwing around with layouts.  I'm also getting a used Pro Purple (shorter pin) and intend to use one of my favorites, a layout with the Pin and CG stacked, equidistand from the PAP, ie, if it's a 2" pin then a 2x2x2). Any thoughts on this one?

Just in case you want it. I have a SCB with the 315 & had a ball with the Girard.
