XXXL Drill help question
« on: May 07, 2007, 08:21:11 AM »
Ordered a 14# red XXXL thru allstarbowling - requested a low top weight and 2-3# pin - need it for super dry conditions and/or as a spare ball.

They sent a 3oz top weight and 0-1 pin; in fact, pin is thru the Lane 1 label -

is this ball drillable for what I need it for?  Does it sound like an x-out?  Can a good driller make it work?

If it were mine, I would either drill out the pin (pin in the ring finger), or put it above the bridge. Fingers may need to be drilled a little deeper than usual. The ball will work just fine for extra-toasty conditions as well as spares.
