I am using this for my sport shot (cheetah/boardwalk). It is very wet/dry. Any reactive bites too early, even my Mojave with a week drill. My XXXL goes a tad too long...has any one ever sanded one of these?? Does it have the same effect as resin?? I was thinking 2000 or 4000 abralon........saw heads let me know what you think.

i have a starburst xxxl but i only use it when the lane are dry.. or ten pin pick up

erm its a plastic cover
so even though it has a great core
on a sport pattern i dont think your gona have a 900 with it
get yourself a evo with a weak drilling
and maybe that 900 will be yours

I have used mine so much to the point where the polish is gone. The ball does check up earlier than usual. Mines drilled pin under also. On pretty much any PBA pattern you would have to point the ball into the pocket. Its somewhat aggressive, but not that aggressive, lol.
If you can get it to the pocket, its money though...

I tried sanding mine, and I was not happy with the results. It actually made the ball more tame. It cleared the front part of the lane about the same, but it moved less on the backend. I polished it back up, and the backend was stronger. Kepp in mind, the terms "tame" and "stronger backend" are relative. This is still a plastic ball
