XXXL Starburst......
« on: July 12, 2009, 05:14:36 PM »
with all the trouble i have been having this summer with very dry lanes i picked up this ball to use as my strike ball when the lanes are fried. was just looking for some feedback on this ball from people who have or had used this ball. my main question is how should i drill it up. it has a 2-3 inch pin with a top weight of 3.5 any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance for all your help.

I'd have to throw two different ones on a light oil shot to know for sure.  Everyone's definition of dry is different, but the way I look at it is that plastic is only going to hook so much on today's oil, no matter how much it flares.  I get enough flare on mine so it doesn't repeatedly roll over it's own oil track, but I have some low flare resin stuff who's lare lines are really close together that seems to do just fine for it's intended purpose.
