XXXL Surface

For those of you using the XXXL as a strike ball on a THS what surface do you prefer.

When I resurfaced mine I left it at 800 grit and hit it with a light coat of Track's CLean N Sheen...works great.

Whatever the base from factory was (600?) + 3000 grit polish.

I've used OOB polished, and 2000 with no polish.
It's worked well both ways, but I like the 2000 (no polish) a little better for a fresh THS. The polished finish is better for dry.

I like this ball alot, started at 500 and then polished.  Just depends weather I'm bowling on wood or synthetics.  I polished it with............................................................................................BEANS, what else.  I only have a little left thought.  The stuff is A+ but wont be buying anymore, too expensive now.
