i have had this ball since it first came out , got 2 , works better in box surface , 38 foot pattern , a blended pattern  has great skid in the heads as long as you have oil in the heads , then reads the mids with a very hard arcing roll with awesome carry , if you dont like the yeah baby or the kong in oil you wont like this one , but if you like legends or lane master and it fits youre style get one and you will love it it is stronger than a yeah baby , it starts it motion earlier than a yb this is a great ball when matched with proper layout , condition and bowler , this ball is stronger in my opinion than the kong with the same lay out but some styles will see different , my 2 are keepers

Had quite a few Lane Master Balls(6) to be exact NS, AP, YB, NS2, AP2, and Satisfaction. All with reconmended label drills for early start(arc), all out of the box finish. The AP2 was a hugh disappointment very smooth through the heads, but no finish very weak even on a dry condition, If I stood on top of the shot and rolled up the board about 5-7 I got better carry, but overall very poor results tried changing the surface many different ways but I just counld not find any peace with this one, gave it to a friend he changed the drill to  more of a skid flip and he got better results but after about 30gms it became a spare ball!

After all the reviews and comments I have read of this ball, I had a feeling it may roll real heavy and have a big burn rate. I got two of these, so I decided I would go with a pin up drilling on both balls, just in case it was so heavy rolling. 1st one was drilled with the pin above the middle finger and CG directly in center of grip. 2nd one was drilled with pin above the ring and the CG kicked out a couple inches to the right with and X-Hole around my midline.

 I have Medium revs and Medium ball speed. I don't like to do nothing fancy and I like to be very smooth with my release. I love to play tournaments... For it is my best practice.

 Well the first one I drilled with the pin above the middle finger is amazing on shorter conditions. I Polished both AP2's with Beans Sauce 6-ways giving me the slickest surface possible. Both took the polish very easy. I can play alot of straighter conditions with this thing although when the lanes break down it can get a little hard to control at times, and that simply being because I polished it so much. It revs up very well in the midlane and has alot of energy at the pins! I would suggest someone with a slower ball speed try this combination for it gets down the lane so good. I actually got a little more backend than I was wanting out of this thing. The AP2's are slightly weaker than my Big Bangs so keep that in mind.

 The second one with the pin above the ring rolls slightly more heavy and a little sooner than the other one stated. I can play with this one on a more wider range of conditions and thats simply due to the more controlled backend reaction. Both balls have the same surface but this one is a couple feet sooner than the other one. These two actually make a good 1-2 combo and I can only imagine if one of them was at a totally difference surface what kind of conditions they would cover! I am very impressed with both of these balls for they match up well with my Med. style. The have incredible hitting power along with some of the best controlled ball reaction money can buy.

 I would rate this ball a perfect 10. But I will however, say that don't buy this ball for the intend of heavy oil. I haven't played with mine at any surfaces so mine may even work on longer stuff but from what I have read, this one don't like oil that well. I drilled these two balls taking all the reviews into consideration and was intending on using these one med. and even med.-dry conditions. The came out so perfect and I am very happy with what kind of reaction I got out of these. But remember, I couldn't have done it without ballreviews.com so thanks, John
