Drilled a Big Bang a few days ago, but have not had a
chance to complete a full review.  Thus far, the ball
is excellent.  I added some surface to handle the puddle
in the middle of the lane and drilled it with a strong
drilling because it has only medium flare.

I noticed during my practice session that this ball has
superior hitting power to other balls on the market--likely
because of its solid shell that fully encases the core.
For those bowlers who have soft speed and a high track as I do
and are looking for a ball that can handle some additional
surface for wet lanes,this is a great choice.  With low RG balls,
I tend to get too much early roll and no hit.  I will definitely
recommend this ball in my shop.

I tested the ball prior to adding an extra hole.  I
brought a burgandy scotch brite pad with me to the lanes
and kept adding surface by hand until I saw the reaction
that I wanted.

For me, I'm finding that I like using a higher RG ball
and then adding surface to match the oil, rather than
relying upon a fast reving ball that tends to "quit" if
I leak it right of target.

However, many of my customers are speed dominant and find
the lower RG balls preferable.

The burgundy pad is 320 grit.  By hand you might not get the full effect, but that's still a lot of surface for anything but a flood.  Since the cover is already pretty strong, you'll be making a lot of friends by blowing holes in the pattern quickly.
