I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with you slightly here.
I'd have to say that the AP, in my experience, can handle a sh*tload of carrydown. And for a resin pearl, it doesn't need an awful lot of dry to make its turn. In fact, when it was the strongest ball I had in the bag one day and the house I was in pulled some stupid nonsense and oiled the crap out of the lanes, all I had to do was move from my 17/18 board target at the arrows to the 10 board, swing it to 5 and just crushed the pocket. They went from a medium-light oil to medium-heavy. The AP being a control ball that hooked evenly, with the drill I had on it (5" pin-PAP, pin under center of bridge), it had no problem at all. I didn't have to slow down or roll it end ove rend.
