Between Urethane and Big R Bang
« on: October 13, 2007, 06:42:58 PM »
Soon I will have my Big R Bang, and if there will be place, what would fit between BRB and Urethane?
I'm looking at Hornet and Straight Flush. Is there big difference between those two?
Or maybe something other? (Tornado, Crossfire, Cherry Vibe, Power Groove, Scout)
Stats about 400rpm, 17mph.

Huge difference, for me. I'd go for the hornet; it can get thru the heads on some very light oil and has a good, normal backend. It would be, in my mind, the right ball between urethane and a BRB. The Straight Flush has a resin coverstock but a pancake core. If you have enough ball speed to go with those 400 revs, you might be able to use it well. It is discontinued due to lack of sales, as near as I can tell. I tried one and could not use it well enough.

Go straight to the source and be prepared to speak about your game a bit before you get a layout: galen@lanemasters.com  1-888-526-3645, M-F, 8-5, Pacific Time
