Is there any ball in the current lineup that compares to the world class particle? It blends out the wet dry very well on the house shot. Thanks

I have a second drill World Class Particle Pearl I'm going to put up for sale soon, along with a whole bunch of other old LM gems.

The Storm Nano and the RG Defiant were fairly aggressive particles but their cores were much stronger than the one on the World Class solid. The WC's higher RG and lower differential core were part of the package that make the WC such a great control ball. The Nano & the Defiant will ordinarily hook much more than the WC, while still being control balls.
There's a chance that The Lord Field Nasty will be of a similar nature (it is a solid and does have particles in the cover) to the WC, but I haven't thrown one myself yet (haven't drilled mine) and I don't think it will handle as much oil as the WC did.

Thanks Charlest, I appreciate your opinion. The world class particle blends out the wet dry very well on the house shot. I've been checking out the video's for Lord fields Higgs force. The numbers are almost the same, I'm just not sure about the cover.

I have not thown either of these balls so hopefully one of the other staff memebers can answer this but based on numbers and covers alone the Exodus Solid may be closer to the WCP. Higgs Force numbers are good but that cover may be too strong. The smoothest ball in my bag right now is the Korrupt. It's particle pearl and the cover has taken to changes from 4000 to 1000 very well.

As far as I know, the Exodus solid is not a particle ball. The Exodus Iron is; I haven't thrown it; so I can't say how much like the WC it is.

As far as I know, the Exodus solid is not a particle ball (I have one and like it a lot, but from its reaction I'd hazard a strong guess that it isn't particle). The Exodus Iron is; I haven't thrown it; so I can't say how much like the WC it is.

Thanks guys I'll take a look at the Exodus Iron. I also might have a lead on a New Standard.

I've had both and they are very similar and you can find an Exodus Iron easier. The cover on the Higgs is very strong and responses well to polish to help tame it down a bit. Just my $.02, Bruce

Based off of similar layouts the World Class Particle I've previously owned I would compare the Big Hurt to it drilled the same, at least for me and my specs.
-
I never drilled a World Class but by numbers and reaction description I would definitely recommend the Nasty but would defer to Pat Patterson as he has experience with all of the Lord Field as well as Past and Present LaneMasters Balls. Therefore I would go with the Big Hurt as Pat recommended.

Thanks gentlemen. I bought a Higgs yesterday (only one they had), and will be picking it up today. I told my ball driller to surprise me. He did drill one of my world class. I'll get a chance to throw it and play with the cover to get it right if we have to. I'll let you know how it goes, Thanks.

great choice. Higgs has been a favorite amongst many!
