I am considering trying a couple of Lanemaster/Legends balls and would like to know how the Yeah Baby and Big Bang compare on a medium and heavy oil condition.
Possible arsenal:
Dry: Absolute Power
medium light: Black Pearl
medium: Masterpiece
medium to heavy: Yeah Baby or Big Bang
Thanks.

First things first...
Black Pearl is not a medium-light oil ball!!!
Big Bang should get down the lane a bit cleaner and make a slightly more pronounced move on the backend than the Yeah Baby.

Can the Black Pearl coverstock be adjusted for a medium light condition or is the Absolute Power better suited for this condition?

The Black Pearl has a strong pearl-particle cover and a high differential core...so, to be perfectly honest, it will probably NOT be a medium-dry ball unless you have ZERO hand and/or high ball speed. That being said, I don't think the AP is a great choice for dry either.
Consider this arsenal instead:
Heavy-Medium - Big Bang
Medium - Black Pearl
Medium-Dry - Buzz
Dry - Hornet
Hope this helps.

yea revtex summed that up just right, my only change in his arsenal would be to throw a World Class Reactive in their for medium oil.

I thought my Hammers hit hard, until I whipped a LM/L ball into the pocket. WOW!
Arsenal:
-Terminator
-Big Bang
-Buzz
-Absolute Power
-Black Widow
-Hawgzilla
-Spare Tire

I have the three B's
Big Bang
Black Pearl
Buzz
Just sold my Hornet.
Being a high speed lefty I never encounter lanes so dry that the Buzz can't handle the condition.

A gentleman in my tuesday scratch league wants to try an L/L ball.
He said he has narrowed it down to the
World Class Reactive
Buzz
Masterpiece
Going to lable drill it.
He plays up the boards with high speed and medium revs.
Which one should he try?

Is the Yeah Baby or Terminator better on a heavy oil condition? Also can both balls be used effectively on a medium oil condition with the proper coverstock prep?

The Terminator to me is the better ball on heavier oil if you rough up the cover a little. It doesn't over/under hook, and it hits very well. The Yeah Baby in heavy oil with the same prep can seem a little squirty. If it rolls through too much oil, it can push down too far. If it hits dry too soon, it comes up too hard.
With a strong drilling, I find the Terminator to be almost too much on a medium oil pattern even in its OOB finish. You would almost have to use a tamer drilling and alter the surface to match the condition.
