The Buzz vs. Thing Returns... anyone?
« on: November 08, 2006, 12:19:32 PM »
I was just curious if anyone has thrown both of these? I know it's a shot in the dark, but it never hurts to ask. I'm guessing they might be pretty similar which is a good thing... currently I have a Thing Returns that I still like alot and tonight I purchased a Buzz so I'm curious what to expect. I've read through the few reviews that I could find but they're pretty sparse.....

PS-Oh and with anyone who has a subscription/access, give me some info on the review that Bowlers Journal Int. did on the Buzz? Thanks!

First of all up date your profile and tell me you specs..

PAP?
Tilt?
Revs?
Release?
MPH?

Based on the balls, I would say the Buzz is very versitile.. its mainly for medium  to light oil, and is very clean down the lane and smooth on the back end.

Its one of the easiest balls to throw.  Give me more info and we can tell you more.

Well, I'm not sure of my PAP or tilt, my ball driller's out of town for the next couple of days, and he handles all that stuff.... You would probably consider me a stroker with med/low revs and a ball speed at the pins of 14-14.5 mph. I've had good luck with balls more on the pearlized side like Grey Wolf, Thing Returns, The One, etc... energy conserving balls. Guess that's what made me think I might like the Buzz. It would mostly be a second and third game ball when my One starts burning up and losing energy.

Well, I don't know the tilt, but talked to my ball driller today and my PAP is 4 1/2 x 0... don't know if that helps.
