Might want to try Legends/Lane Masters
« on: October 18, 2006, 10:22:05 PM »
I have read nothing but good things about these balls, and I think I'm going to give one a try.  My arsenal right now consists of (from most to least oil handling capability):

Roto Grip Epic
Hammer Black Widow
Ebonite The One
Roto Grip Mercury

I would say that 90% of the time I throw either the Epic or Widow.  These are 2 tremendous balls.  If one isn't giving me a good reaction, the other usually will.  The times when the midlane oil goes and I'm forced to move left is where I'm having problems.  The Epic is just too early here.  The Widow is better, but due to the drill I have on it it still wants to waste a bit too much energy getting back to the pocket.  The One is very sensitive, even with the million cover changes I have made to it.  If everything is just right, it gives me great backend recovery from deep inside.  Unfortunately, the planets don't align often enough.  It is the weak spot in my aresnal.

I'm looking for something that will recover from deeper inside (left of 15 at the arrows) when I have to move there.  I'm not at all familiar with these balls, but I know a lot of users here are.  I do have enough hand and axis rotation to bring a ball back from there...it's just a matter of finding one that will work.  All my stats are in my profile.  Thanks for any help.
