 I've rolled this ball about 5 games and tried it at box and 3000 New abralon. Being honest I am not real impressed with this ball, the way I have it drilled 50 X 5 X 60. Right now with this drilling its not matching up with me, I could try it at other surfaces, but I have other balls for that. Just my 2 cents..

Thanks for the feedback.  The core in the Big Bang SE looks similar to the core in the Lord Field Pin Hacker which was one of the few Lord Field balls that did not match my game.

41ft blended house shot fresh and broken down after 3 games. 39 ' ths broken down 3 games . On 39 I also used hammer spike and red diamond both balls out performed it, with the spike being the best of the bunch. Spike and RD in box finish

41' blended used the judgement and torment with both balls giving me better looks than the BB? Judgement hit with a used 2000 abralon and Torment box 4000

I'm not bashing, I'm just giving my results which are not as good as I was expecting from this ball. It's not the only ball I don't like that I have tested.

I think I am going to sale at least two maybe three, anyone interested?

No, it does ok in oil, I threw a couple shots on the fresh 41' blended and it struggled, a couple in box finish and a couple at 3000, still had issues, and I had better options.

What do you mean by struggled? that's what we're all trying to figure out, since this is supposed to be Lane Masters first new "big" release

It just struggled to the pocket, that is all. There were better options than this ball at that time. I'm not bashing the ball, I am sure it has it's place. Not trying to make this a big deal, ball will work better for others, just that I have better options than it, from what I have seen from the ball I have..

I'm not 100% on dual angle layouts. With your layout, are you seeing length and a real smooth/slow reaction downlane?

My Big Bang needs some dry. When I throw it on fresh, it gets way too far down the lane. I put a little bit different layout on it though besides the classic pin-up/down - CG out. We didn't lay it out dual angle. The quickest way to describe it would probably be 3.5" X 5"... pin out and up, CG close the the palm. Length, flare, and arc on the backend.

Anyways, on the fresh, it just gets thru the fronts (AND mids) way too easy, and the layout makes it labor on the backend. If it does make it back, which actually it usually does, the hit is funky because its coming in at such a steep angle. Its good but like what has been said, I have better options.

However, when I throw it on what I got it and laid it out for... which is when they dry up and I need something to get thru the front clean but not overreact on the backend, it works absolute wonders.

I'm a few games and a house or two shy of an actual review... but it'll be a pretty good one, with the caveat that it's not an oil ball for me. Then again, I'm a high rev rate, higher speed bowler, so individual results will vary.

See I was expecting this to be one of there heavier oil pieces. I find it strange that yours has such a difficult time when any oil is present. But looking at the specs it is polished, so maybe it was meant to be a medium oil ball. Also the original Kong was claimed to provide very easy length for a particle ball, so maybe it is just the core creates such easy length it needs some friction to start up. Still a ball I am interested in. I really liked the original Big Bang, have one NIB for a rainy day.

I wish some more people would chime in on this piece.

I need to jump in on this. The ball is a little oil sensitive so for heavier patterns and fresh you made need to dust the cover with grey pad or 2000. Enough to take the shine but not all the polish. There is a load of the skid particle in this ball so dusting it won't hurt the fronts. The other 2 particles are light backend particles. Surface adjustment will be needed more on this ball than any other ball. I found grey pad is perfect for medium/heavy THS 42 feet. I hope this helps.

I have been rolling the Big Bang SE for a few weeks now, and it has become my go to ball, especially when there is any hint of carrydown.  The ball stops for nothing when it reaches the pin deck.  The ball is exceptionally easy to read through its skid, hook, and roll phases.

What I would like to know is what other balls in Lane Masters/Lord Field's lineup have similar particle content/coverstock characteristics, i.e., strong roll through the pin deck?  I drilled up a Perfect with the same layout, and it did not match up well for me.  Even though the Perfect has a lower RG and higher Diff core, it seems to skid more and just bounce off the pins.  I would really like another pearl particle ball to complement the Big Bang SE, but with a slightly different look.
