Terminator Rebellion
« on: November 30, 2009, 08:23:24 PM »
I may be getting one at a great deal.  Can somebody provide feedback on it?  I just bought the Black Diamond and have done extremely well with it, in scoring and brackets.  Can someone compare this to another ball in the Legends line.

I have just about all of them, Black Pearl, Terminator, 2 Yeah Babys, Big R Bang, Straight Flush and Absolute Power.

Before the Black Diamond, the Black Pearl was my favorite, followed by the Terminator.

Thanks.

The TR is, IMHO, the best solid reactive ball that L/M has made ... just got one recently myself, and it has become my benchmark and "go to" ball for medium oil conditions I only wish that I hadn't waited so long to get one !!!

shot 805 with the terminator rebellion... great ball.. i highly recommend it. especially if you can get a good deal on it... i''m surprised more people don''''t have this one.. like robb said, it''''s a great solid reactive ball.

The Rebellion will be weaker than your top 5 balls or so in your lineup, which can be a good thing! Depending on layout, the ball should be a little stronger than the absolute power in the back part of the lane. Just dont go in thinking you can use it on the heavier conditions because it wont. Overall though I agree, its a nice benchmark ball for sure. Just like the original terminator, you cant go wrong! John

Pin just barely over ring - and it's my perfect down and in ball for my conditions and style.  Play very little belly and it comes back and takes out high flush hits and very light hits.  I will say that the pin over ring one leaves 9 pins on a pretty regular basis.

My other one is pin under middle, cg in palm and it's a control ball all the way.  This one I'll belly a bit more since it has just a tad more surface than the other one - playing between 2nd-3rd arrow down to about 5.  Comes back well and is a bit more forgiving if I come in light.

Either way, the TR has a place in my bag most of the time.
The Gathering 2014 is near.  July 25-27 in Winston Salem, NC @ Creekside lanes.

Wouldn't it be better to get an Extreme instead of the Rebellion?  I heard good reviews on it thus far.

My main house puts out far to much volume for my Terminator Rebellion. I don't think you can chose between.      A Extremely Damage an a Terminator Rebellion, there for different conditions with to different shape reactions.
