How is this ball still performing for those that drilled one?
You will not see me on the PBA Tour, but I love the game!!!
I just drilled a black diamond reactive up 2 weeks ago, and so far I am loving the ball! I bowl on a 40 foot shot with a out of bounds outside of 6 or so in one house, and practice on a THS in another (about 38 feet maybe 37, but not positive since I dont oil the lanes heh) both houses are synthetic overlays.
Out of the box, in my main house with the out of bounds, I go 267, 256.... it gets through the heads very clean, sets up well in the midlane, and has a nice strong back end, but is not overly aggressive or flippy at all. At the house with the THS , the ball has a ton of back end, but also gets through the heads easily. The lowest game (between league and practice) that I have shot so far has been 210. This ball keeps the pins very low and carries very well, I am impressed!
I have been a Lane#1 head for a long time, and decided to venture out into something different with this Lane Masters ball, and I am glad that I did! I dont know what my rev rate or axis tilts are, but I do have a lot of hand and ball speed is between 16 and 17 mph. I attached a picture of how I laid this ball out....cheers

I have the Black Diamond...in fact its drill exactly like yours.
Mine is fitted with a Vise IT (that broke on me the other night) this is my heavy oil ball.
The other night I was forced to use my Lane #1 Pink Panther (scuffed with grey scotchbrite) and shot a 279.
I'm in the process of getting the BD repaired because I LOVE that BALL!!!!!
I am a fan of Lane#1 and Lane Masters and you can't go wrong with either company. The one thing I have noticed about my L/M stuff is that they don't seem to loose any reaction.
