Their comparison is similar to other balls which have solid particles vs pearlized particles: The pearl goes longer and hooks more in the backend. The solid handles slightly more oil (mostly because it is also polished) and will give you more of a sense of control by hooking earlier.

Both of them can have their surfaces roughened up slightly to change their behavior. Sanded, both will handle a lot more oil and hook earlier. Both are very easily manipulated, up and down. Very versatile balls for medium up to heavy oil (when sanded).

Yes the terminator handles more oil and the BP handles true medium in box finish, the wcr or big r bang would be a bigger move down.

If it hooks too early, yes, then change to the BP.
If it hooks too much, then the BP is likely to hook even more. If the Term hooks too much, you need a milder ball.

Read your profile you have more revs than me and less speed than me, and you low track. The WCR is a big rolly core and with my up the boards style it is one of best hitting and most consistent balls i own.

I have two of these one in box finish never touched and one at 500 with brunswick high gloss on top of it. The box finish is longer and more even, the 500 then high gloss handles the oil better and makes a harder move to the pocket.

I still have not answered your question because i have not seen you throw the ball and even if i have i have to see you on the real shot to know the correct answer to this. The short answer is both the BP and WCR are both less balls, the BP can get jumpy with too crisp of backends and is alot closer to the Terminator.

I honestly Prefer the WCR or a Kong for the hole you seek, i have 3 Kongs all different and yes they roll way different than anything else in the legends/lane masters lineup. The Kong is very misunderstood bowling ball, it never really did what they said it was for but i suspect that the cover is so danged hard to be the real issue with that.

I had my first Kong Redrilled and surfaced and only did the metal pads cut the surface the 500 pads did nothing to it at all. But use the Kong on the right lane patterns and you kill everyone on the pair with it.

I know that this is "off topic" but I wanted to chime in on a thread ...

I agree with Barry (MrBowlingNut) that the KONG is a misunderstood ball; originally made for heavier volumes of oil with a hard, backend turn(FWIW, that is nopw filled by the Big Bang), it actually is better suited, IMHO, for medium to med-light conditions and when the have some "built in hook" on the backends(don't use it on carrydown) ... as long as you have head oil, the particle cover smooths out midlane reaction and saves the best for last.
