My Girl Friend is getting into Bowling and she is between balls right now she has a throttle for heavy oil usuall she uses this for the first game or so then she puts it away and goes to an RSX but there is all kinds of open room in between the two balls sometimes the Throttle is hooking out the back door and the RSX is not strong enough yet I was thinking a black pearl might be a good choice for a ball in between the other two?
HER STATS,
Speed:12-14
Revs: 12-13
Mid axis tilt
unknown PAP but she does turn the ball well would be higher but not cranker high
Drill Pattern on the RSX: Pin over ring finger mass bias out 1-2 inches unknown PAP but she tracks a pretty good area of the ball
She is a pretty good bowler averaging 145-150 and this is only her 2nd full season with good equipment and decent coaching. Please help she loves tom Bowl but she struggles when the lanes break down

i Owuld say with her speed the Black Pearl would probaly not be the best choice, especially since the lanes are broke down, because the black pearl from what i hear is a very strong ball that needs oil to work properly. If i had to chose, i would go with the Buzz or an a Satisfaction, being that they are both good for when the lanes are breaking down, and both have great hit.
But i am sure someone will chime in with a little more knowledge on this, but i do know that the black Pearl is most likely not the ball i would be looking in to for your situation.

From personal experience and also from what I've heard directly from some knowledgable sources, the best "L/LM" ball for when the oil pattern breaks down is The BUZZ; it's a pearl reactive ball that clears the heads and midlanes easily and has a strong move off of the breakpoint on the backends.
Here's the new and improved Legends website link; it has some great new features (you can compare three balls simutaneously) and also has specs on each ball. Good luck and happy holidays !!!
