Thanks Jim but it doesn't. Sorry our games are not much the same. I think I ted to play deeper than you do when heads go. I base this just on your comments on your problems with the WCR. Maybe wrong not sure.
Mid rev 325, mid speed tweener. I know because of the amount of torque listed in BTM and the amount of flare I can take a Black Pearl to pin above fingers/bridge 5 1/2" pin to PAP it will match my game better than a closer pin to PAP as I have a Big Bang/P for more oil. I wish I had done this with my Masterpiece but oh well. I did not get enough length out of the Masterpiece. Poor layout.
I think the key to laying out some of LM/L balls is that the higher flaring models like the Black Pearl, Masterpiece and others that get more than 4.5" inches of flare on a strong layout is that these balls lend themselves to longer pin to PAP layouts. My PAP is 4 7/8 over and 0.
So, my question is with this layout of longer pin to PAP and a shiny surface if I will get enough length on semi burnt heads on an inside angle. The Buzz was inconsistent at this inside angle but my thinking is that the Black Pearl is more rolly and consistent and with the low load particle would be better on carry down.
Side note. I asked Jim King of BTM what he thought were a few of the best balls on this condition and he said Black Pearl and Angular One....among others. I trust his opinion.
