Update on my BRB; after trying it out in my Thursday travel league this past week, and seeing the strength of the reactive resin cover , I decide to hit the cover with a coat of the Legends Extended Length polish (per Galen's recommendation).
MUCH BETTER !!! The "EL" polish gave the ball more "push" down the lanes and retained the hard-hitting power that I've grown accustomed to with the "L/LM" line of equipment; the reaction is still early on the midlanes and more angular than I thought that it would be. After 4 games with it, I switched to The BUZZ and it went longer and opened up the lanes with more backend than the BRB ... less angular and more of a sweeping hook. Bear in mind that the BUZZ is still OOB and that the layouts are different too (both layouts are below).
Big R Bang: 3 oz TW, 2 3/4" pin, 3 x 3 1/2 layout,
(pin above & right of pin, on the edge of ring finger hole @ 2 o'clock),
cg 3/8" above midline, OOB with Extended Length polish, no WH
The BUZZ: 3 3/8 oz TW, 2 3/4" pin, 4 x 4 1/4" layout, pin right/above the ring,
cg 9/16" above ML, OOB, no WH

Man, I LOVE this game; and I love it even more now that I'm using LEGENDS/LaneMasters equipment !!!
