How do you achieve the 1200 matte box finish on the BPR? Or what have you tried to achieve a similar reaction to oob?

As fas as I know, the Black Pearl Reactive has a Factory Finish polish on it, not a 1200 grit matte finish.

I personally use 800 grit scotch-brite then a ton of factory polish.

1200 matte is gonna be semi-shiny.  If it's like their other semi-shiny balls, it's 800-grit sanded (600?), then a heavy coat of polish, then a light sanding with a well-worn white pad.  Just enough to take the shine off but not enough to dull it.

But like Jeff said, I don't think it's 1200-grit matte, I thought it was polished.

Virtually every "polished" ball from Lanemasters and Legends of which I am aware, fron the first Impacts, comes, as Pat has specified, the last sanding is 800 grit with a light grey Scotch-Brite nylon pad, followed by a heavy coating with their Factory FInish polish.

The Buzz Attack is the only ball, of which I am aware, in which 1200 grit has been mentioned.

i have tried it at 500 and 500/2000 abralon with ebonite polish, personally i like it with 500 + polish
