From your mouth to Galen Gentry's & Johnie Jones' ears.

I have to modify virtually every and any current LM/L ball to hook less overall AND in the backend. AS much as I love them, I can hardly use them. Just took my World Class Reactive, a medium ball at best (HA!, a medium oil at the least.) down to 4000 git and repolished it, praying I can use it tonight.

I keep wondering who test their balls: guys who throw it 25 mph or guys with 3 revs.

I no longer even dream of being able to use an XS Power, God forbid, a Terminator or a Sting. My high gloss polished NS2, my NS and Big Kahuna just sit idle. Might as well sell them. I have only average hand and might have to redrill them with 6" pin to use them.

They should dig up the old coverstock from the Extreme Impact and put it on the Hornet core!!

Hornet was very mild for me, I think out west where they test is all pretty much the same thing. They need to add east coast testers because the lanes I hear hook much much more than here where I am in vegas.

I bowl on all newer brunswick synthetics no wood round here for a hundred plus miles now.

I bowl on Brunswick AnvilLane and AMF HPLS.

Most lanes are synthetic here now, but the managers are not bowlers and they think because they have synthetics they don't need to spend all that precious maintenance money on oil.
I think they use those oil misters the food supply places sell for salads to oil the lane!!:

My drillers are Rochester guys that tell me that some east coast centers use alot less oil, not always to go off of reviews here.

I agree since I seem to like balls that hardly anyone likes and stuff like the twisted fury is a dart when I had it. i read many reviews of much it hooks everyone of them i have seen is pretty straight.

So go figure it happens.

i have the BP reactice and the xspower, the BPr is way too much midlane and backend that gives very nice surprises, so far i ve had a pocket 5-7, 8-10, solid 9s and 8s, plus the conventional splits going thru the nose, so im pretty much putting it away till i have to go very deep.

the Xspower on the other hand, doesnt move much, its drilled above fingers and cg in palm, very nice straight down and in and for readin the lanes.

i bowl on a short pattern with light volume of oil and most of the time, with open play so lots of carrydown that isnt cleaned
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.
