Title: Compare the Satisfaxion to the World Class Reactive
Post by: jd1319 on November 17, 2006, 12:15:20 PM
With the same drilling, what would be the difference in the balls?  I have a friend contemplating the WCR, but since there are very few Lanemaster/Legends balls in my area, we're trying to figure out what he might have if he got one.

Is the Satisfaxion for drier lanes than the WCR?  Thanks again

... your call, but IMHO the Satisfaxion is for drier lanes, relatively speaking if you are comparin the two balls.

My 2 cents worth -

While the Satisfaxion is NOT for dry lanes, both should have a similar (relative) evenness to the ball reaction, with the WCR handling 1/2 - a full degree more oil, depending on the usual factors.

Thanks guys, basically what you are saying, is they are similar, but the WCR will handle more oil.  Basically a medium oil ball vs. a medium/light oil ball?

Thanks again

FWIW and IMHO, I'd say YES; check out the links on both above.

Thanks again, with many other MFR, their claims of what the ball is supposed to do, is somewhat different than what it does in real life, so it's nice to here from people who know the equipment than just going by the specs.

Unfortunately, in my area, you can count the Lanemaster users on one hand, so my only frame of reference is really my equipment only.  Although I'm beginning to see that with Lanemaster, they are more accurate on their claims of what the ball really does.  It sounds like it the ball would fit in nicely in between my World Class and Satisfaxion.  If my friend goes that route, I may have to throw his a few times just to see.

"jd",
I'm in the same boat here ... I believe that I'm the ONLY one rolling "L/LM" equipment.
