I don't see many posts about the Counter Strike. I am looking for a particle pearl.
Side by side comparison vs. the Yeah Baby and NS2.....how does the Counter Strike stack up for strength?
Strengths and weaknesses?

I know it is Rotogrip but the Mystic is awesome ball, found one on eBay 3 months ago for 72.00 shipped with perfect specs.
Have no real info on the Counter strike, maybe Pat will chime in I believe he has one he uses.

Thanks Barry. Great minds think alike I thought about a Mystic also.

I do like LM/L stuff so I thought about the Counter Strike.

Unfortunately the Counter Strike is one of too many balls I have that I have yet to punch-up.

I have seen a couple used by others in league play, they seem to rev up nicely(maybe it's the color swirl), but of the two I've seen they look pretty strong played of the same line I use a highly-polished Sting.

Thanks Pat.
I had a Sting as was not all that impressed by it's strength. Yeah Baby on same line was much stronger same drill and same cover for me by about 3 boards.
I am looking for a particle pearl for inside lines when heads go with carry down present. Knowing that I'd polish the CS and not leave it OOB for this type of line.

Mystic all the way...one of the best pearl particles.
-
My CS vs NS2 comparison isn't quite side by side - since they're drilled differently, but I go to the CS when my NS2 or Terminator is threatening Brooklyn. I don't see it having many problems w/carrydown with my style of play. (a la Norm Duke - just taller and not quite as accurate).
-
If your looking for a pearl particle have you thought about the original Black Pearl? This is the ball that sold me on Lane Masters equipment. It hits great, works on a variety of lane conditions and the cover can be adjusted easily if needed. For me it works on 90% of the conditions I normally see in league or tournaments.

Hate to say anything negative about a Lanemasters ball, but the Counter-Strike just didn't do it for me. I have a Yeah Baby and had a NS2 (sold it when I moved to the mainland), and the CS just doesn't stack up to those two. Perhaps it's because it has filler between the core and coverstock, perhaps the conditions I was bowling on weren't right, or maybe I was just bowling crappy. It just didn't compare to even my Sure Strike, which had a considerably better look on the same or similar conditions.
Just my $.02 (I highly agree with the recommendation for the original Black Pearl...one of the best balls evere made IMHO).

For a fellow stroker, no question about it...the World Class Reactive. I have the Yeah Baby and Buzz also and the WCR fits nicely in between. It's a heavy rolling ball which provides a significant move to the pocket. It's rapidly becoming my favorite ball...ever.
