first impression of the BP reactive
« on: September 03, 2008, 12:50:39 PM »
i drill this up today, with about 3 1/2 inches from axis, with pin above and right of the ring finger, cg on palm, box finish

my house is a short pattern, somewhere bt 33-35ft, very light volume of oil, so changes had to be made, and quick.

first let me tell u that i wanted this ball to replace my almost cracked infinite one... well i realize that it was a stupid idea, maybe with a bit of surface change it will do the job, but i think i'll just leave it where it is since i really like what i saw on the lanes and going to replace my infinite one with the epic odyssey.

anyway, here are my impressions of the BP reactive. first, it went a bit too long before the turn, that on a short pattern is not very good sign... then after more shots it got better, i think maybe i was too pumped up and was too firm. the practice game was pretty much over/under since i was trying to see what the ball could do. then i challenged myself with 3 serious games as i usually do when i practice. pretty much averaged about 225 with it. tons of room for error, something that i dont usually have. the ball cleared the front with a strong move to the pocket revving up nicely, and strong hit.
what i loved about it and the reason why im planning to drill the odyssey is that, let me put this on upper cases I DIDNT LEAVE A 10 PIN! well not until the last frame of the third game where i moved in a lot and hit the pocket like a potato.

on friday, i'll use it again, hopefully i get some oil to be able to use it properly

first impression 9/10 solid performance, lots room for error and no 10s

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.
