Tonight was the first night of my Tuesday night league, and out the gate solid nine, next 8 x's .. finish 265, next game 262, last game 247
Rolled 774 and was seriously just a few measly tugs away from another 800 series. Oil pattern was wide heavy units 38 feet buffed. It was a heavy to medium pattern, with light carry down, or at least none that I could see with the awsome ripping power of my terminator's shell. (carry down WAS there)
I used the Terminator all night, started 12 to 6 - finished around 17 to 8. Ball held my line rolling hard through the deck all night, on a few wide shots it just tracked up early and walked right to the hole. Finish the 10th frame of the 3rd game with my Big Bang, x x x and was surprised to find that it went long and turned hard. I actually shoulda used it instead tonight, because I really would of had an easier line to play. Kinda scary!!! 774 and might have done better? lol
Plus my Big Bang is by FAR the most unbelievble ball I have ever thrown on medium, fresh patterns.
With my new arsenal I am seriously going to average at least 235 on any house pattern I can find, my new grip that Gip lintine set me up with was the Key to my success.
But what really makes it is Lane Masters and Legends balls...
I will NEVER drill anything else for as long as I live, period,,, the energy retention, the predictability, the recovery, and pin cracking power is unmatched by any respectable bowling ball producing giant to date.
Lane Masters & Legends is the flat out smartest company out there from blue print to finished product, they know what the hell they are doing.
I hope other people undertand what research, true cores, stable partical and solid coverstocks with no filler can do for their game.
Anyone else throwing a Terminator? Hows that going for you?

727 with mine last night; 208 (whiffed a 10 pin and had a big split in the 10th), 280 (7 pin in the 2nd), and 234 (started with the first 6, then a Greek Church). Currently averaging just over 220 with the Terminator in my two leagues. (I normally stand 18 to 22 and rolled the ball out to the breakpoint around 8 to 6 board).
Like "HoG", I'm a FIRM believer in these "L/LM" balls and fullky envision being 'brand loyal" for life !!!

Shot 662 in my Tuesday scratch singles league. The house I bowl in puts out only medium oil at best. I had the pro shop polish my Terminator to a glass finish with the polish that came with the ball. Ball hooks 3-4 more boards now and I have even more area. The Hit, freaky pin action with no over under is just insane. L/L for life.

BTW, I have mine at 4000 abralon and polished with Legends Factory Finish polish; this ball is a BEAST (however, mine doesn't seem to like carrydown) other than that .... no trauma, no issues, no worries !!!

Robb, could that might possibly be because of the 4000 Grit sanding??? The reason I say this is because I saw Chris using his 2-3 days after he got it and bowling on lanes that had carry down from all of the kids bowling with plastic balls ahead of him and the carry down didn't seem to effect his ball.

Yeah brick mine doesn't mind carry down at all and mine is still in out of box surface. Just clean after every three games.

The TERMINATOR was my choice in winning an ALL STAR bowling ball raffle. Haven't received it yet ..comments here are making me ANXIOUS! I made the pick based on good experiences with the NEW STANDARD and the MASTERPIECE .. hope the ball treats me as well as it treated you guys!

Joe, I think you will like that ball based on what everyone else is saying about it. I would have looked into it myself had I not already recently purchased 2 other L/LM balls.

Between rev dominant and speed dominant i am literally 50/50.. kinda right in the middle... so i play an aggressive game around 17- 175. mph.. and with the Terminator in OOB condition, and no polish... it literally rips through the carry down.
I would have to say it would be nice to have 2 of these drilled up..
one pin out highly polished...
and one pin in stacked 800-600 grit scotch brite.
That would give you a total read on and heavy to heavy medium pattern...
and after they break the lanes down.. just pull out the Big Bang and spank the rack till its Buzz time on the deep line.

That 4000 cover MAY have something to do with it, for sure ... and I could even be wrong about the carrydown "issue"; however, I REALLY like the consistant reaction with the cover combo now (4000 and polished).

OOB grit is right around 800 ... if I'm not mistaken, based upon past chats with Galen (in prep for sale) they are polished, 800 wet-sanded, hit with a gray scotchbrite, and then boxed up for shipemnt to sell.

FYI, "factory grit" of both the Big Bang and the Terminator is 800 grit (gray scotchbrite pad); the BB is left that way for sale at OOB Sheen, and the Terminator is polished with their Factory Finish polish, which takes the ball up to 1500-1800 grit. BTW, this is not an assumption on my part, this info is directly from "DA Man" at Legends, Galen Gentry.
