Got my Buzz drilled up tonight, and we were in the championship match in our final league week. Up by 7 we only needed a tie in any game or better to win....we tied the first game lol. So I used the Buzz.

It got down the lane, but when it turned the corner, it REALLY turned the corner. It hits just like I would expect it to. The guys we were bowling against were amazed at how much right turn this ball has. I was too. I figured it would match up real well with the conditions we were on, but I didn't think it would match up perfectly.

Now I have the Big Bang and the Buzz drilled up. My Scorchin' Inferno is going bye bye for sure....and now I just need to decide if I want to drill the Absolute Power or not.

GREAT STUFF !!! I spoke to Galen today about the Big Bang, World Class, and The Buzz. It sounds as if the shot broke down for you a bit and you were able to open the lanes up a bit ... strong move on the backends but NOT skid/flippy, right

COOL !!!
BTW ... I have an AP (2 drills that I just sold and I'm getting a NIB to replace it0; I'm gonna tweak the layout a bit with Galens help. I'd recommend that you DO get it drilled up, very nice and HARD-hitting ball ... make sure that you get a layout that will complement the BB and BUZZ (I'd speak to Galen to advise and his input, but that's me).

I think there is no way for me not to drill the AP...I mean these Lane Masters Balls are sweet! I just have a question for you....is the AP for drier lanes?

The AP drilled "normally" is for medium oil; it was far too strong when I drilled it label (4"x5"); so I did a 5.5"x4" and it handles medium-light to medium very well. It acts for me much more like a polished solid than a pearl, even with a 5.5"x4" drill PLUS some extra Legends polish. It is NOT for drier lanes.

Yeah ... I had to go with a weaker pin and weaker layout AND alot of surface adjustment to get mine for use on even medium-light conditions !!! I just sold my 2-drill AP yesterday; it was pin about an inch ABOVE the fingers on the gripline and the cg below the ring in the grip, and really tamed the coverstock down and the hit and backend was STILL incredibly hard and strong !!!
Give Galen a call ... give him all you current layouts and stats (PAP, ball speed, etc) and I'm confident that he can provide you a layout to compliment that growing "L/L" arsenal. Feedback please after you do and what you think of the AP ... thanx !!!

I got the AP drilled up tonight. I used it for a game of practice..and it rolls very well, but it wasn't the ball for the condition I was throwing on. I went into league tonight...threw the Big Bang for 4 frames, switched the to the Buzz, threw the next 7 shots with it, then the final shot with the Big Bang. Shot 227 the first game, 235 the 2nd with the Big Bang, and 248 the last with the Big Bang. 710 clean series. I won about $250 tonight in brackets and a Scratch 2nd game Special. I don't get in the other high games, because it's handicapped and I average 220 and am Scratch. I got into 10 brackets, won 6 and finished 2nd in one other one. If it weren't for those being handicapped I would have won 9 and finished 2nd in the other one.

Loving the Lane Masters/Legends line. Got my average up to 223 after tonight. The first week I bowled I shot 589 with my Action Packed...ever since have been throwing my Big Bang....gone 681, 672, 700, 710...can't complain

I had my driller do a very genaric lay out on my AP. I'm a lefty, so it's driled with the pin at about 10'oclock, the CG about 2" below the ring finger and no X-hole. I have my Tropical Storm drilled almost the same way, and it works well for me, and I think it will definately compliment my BB and Buzz.

I think I have the correct arsenal now. Big Bang, The Buzz, Absolute Power and then The Tropical Storm. I have the arrow spare ball, but I'm not going to drill it up. I worked with my driller on how to pick up 7 pins and I really feel confident now that I won't need it.

I had a bowler who's on the Brunswick Staff come to me last night after league and ask me how I liked the Legends stuff...I told him I LOVE it...he said I watched you throw it tonight, and it rolls very well for you. He said they are thinking about getting some to put in their pro shops.

I believe we found something here. People might be afraid to put the money into these balls, because they're a lil' pricey, but after last night and the league week before, the Big Bang has already paid for itself.
