I heard through the grapevile Sept 10 or so was the release date, but the proshop where I ordered them said their distributor isn't sure when they are going to be available. They thought they were going to be in by now from what their distributor said. I'm curious to see how it stacks. Although I'm not in a hurry, I have several friends talked into trying Legends, and this is the ball they all wanted, and they keep bugging me.

Spoke to Galen on this today ... due to high demand for the Black Pearl and the two newest releases (Sting and Sure Strike), they have delayed its production and distribution; I'll do my best to keep you informed, since I speak with him regularly.

Cool, thanks for the update. I was going to try and contact him this week, but my work schedule is horrid right now.

I too spoke with Galen via e-mail and I concur with Robb stating above that the release date is being pushed back due to the popularity of the Sure Strike and Sting. Galen stated that the release date is being pushed back for an October release timeframe.
