Hornet w/ Pin Axis Drill
« on: June 15, 2007, 06:10:28 AM »
I had a thought about drilling up a lower flaring ball with a pin axis drill to control the backends when they're really flying.  I'm wondering if anyone has tried this with a Hornet and if so, what were the results ?

I think you are wasting your time, i have a strong drilled Hornet and believe me i shoot 10 pins with it and the ball only slightly hooks.

Playing it up the track it does hook and make the pocket when the heads go away and it controls jumpy backends. I am around 275-300 rpms more a forward roll and medium-high speed, i am not handless compared to most average players but cannot move in most of the time either.
