how much stronger is your stings then the buzz?
and what does it hook like ?

I have my Sting and Kong drilled pin below ring finger, which places it 4" from my PAP. I start with the Sting if the oil permits then if it too much I go to the Kong. When the Kong is starting to hook to early I then go to the BigR Bang then to my The Buzz! I have started with The Buzz if the lane are not oiled as heavy and shot really well. The Sting is a 45* layout and the Kong is 75* and I know a lot of people say the CG doesn't matter, but I drill all of my stuff with the degree system and I let them drill their stuff there way. I always place the WH on a line from my GC thru CG to either on my VAL or 1" before or 1" past, but it always on that line. The Sting is a great ball and I'll be drilling the Sure Strike this week when it comes in! I hope this helps, Bruce

For me my Sting is stronger than the Kong, BP, Yeah Baby, and BigR Bang. I tried the Yeah Baby and Kong Tuesday night and I was leaving a 7 pin or 10 pin with no doubles I go 194 for the first game. I went to the Sting for the fill ball in the tenth of the first game to see what reaction I could expect and had to move four left with the Sting over the Yeah Baby and Kong. I throw a double, then miss my mark and leave a 2-8, I spare and go sheet for a 278. The last game I come up high and leave a 6-10 then spare and I move left another 2-8 then spare, I strike up to the eighth and leave a seven pin and strike out for 257 and 729 series. Remember that this is for me and my layout and you may see a different reaction. I gave my BP to a girl that I have been coaching and her mom bowls on our team, because for me it was very over/under and I really like the Sting! I'm debating on drilling another one with the pin above the fingers, but the pin below drilling works so well for me. I should have my two Sure Strikes tomorrow and I was going to drill one just like the Sting and I hope that when the Sting is too much, I can go to the Sure Strike. I watched a guy use his Sure Strike several weeks ago at a tournament in Mississippi and liked the way it rolled and ordered two last week! I hope this helps, Bruce
