The Masterpiece is, from what I've heard and seen, probably their strongest reactive ball.

Both the Masterpiece and the World Class Reactive are earlier than the BRB. While they won't hook more, they handle (slightly) more oil.

If you've drilled the BRB "label leverage", I'd be inclined to suggest putting the pin at leverage of even 3" from PAP and kicj=k the CG toward your PAP. I say this because of your high ball speed (in your profile). I am still not 100% positive that this will work. Once you get to TRUE medium heavy oil, the particle balls from Legends are your safest bet. They are not entirely like other particle balls, with regard to longevity, if that is your concern.

FYI the MP flare more than the WCR and the BRB, so it might be the safest bet. While it's the safest bet, it still might not work. Personally, I, with ball speed around 16 mph, need more than medium oil for my Masterpiece, with almost any drill.

You can, as an option, also roughenr up their surface slightly to get an earlier grip over the bases highly polished stock coverstock.

Laybzz - it appears that you really, really,REALLY like your Black Pearl.  I have a Masterpiece drilled to go long.  The pin is over the bridge 5" from PAP and the cg kicked out, I think 3" from PAP. (10:30 cg to pin).  I I like throwing it between 5 & 10 and on a medium to medium light house shot it walks right into the pocket.  My idea is probably to buy a Hornet for light to dry conditions and much because of your high recommendations, a BP for medium to medium heavy conditions.  What I don't want is a ball that is too overly aggressive on the back end, and it sounds as if the BP would fill this bill.  Does the particle in the BP help it smoothe the transition from oil to dry in the back end?  Also, would the Yeah Baby possibly fill this slot instead of the BP?  I am a stroker with medium speed, medium revs.  Maybe Charlest could also reply.  I've probably asked this same question in another form on a different thread, but I really want to make the right decision on a new L/LM ball.

Thanks Charlest, I think that I am having the same dilemma as tog831 as my MP works well on medium oil just as the BRB does for him.  I think that maybe a Yeah Baby would be a good move up for more than medium conditions.  Though I think that if a Black Pearl were drilled stronger than my MP it would also be a good step up.

I think that I could solve my dilemma by buying the YB & BP both.  I'll have to think about that.  That's an interesting thought.  My inclination is to get the BP and then if I need something stronger, get the YB.  Thank you for your input and I will keep you posted.
