lanemaster pads
« on: July 10, 2008, 02:50:15 AM »
I'm talking about the pads that come in the box when you buy a lanemasters ball. I bought a world class particle and along with the ball came two still wool pads? They are grey and burgundy. The grey is for medium and the burgundy is for heavy. My question is, are there any pads that fit between them? I'm looking for something stronger than the medium grey pad. If so where can I find them? I've used both buy hand with immediate results. I don't know what grit the grey one is but I think the burgundy one is 320 grit. Thanks

u can get a green one that is 600 grit, the burgandy is 320, the grey is like 800-1000.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

There's nothing special about them, they're just regular Scotchbrite pads.  Green SB, as NJStroker said, is around 600-grit, and it's available just about everywhere.  Try the aisle in Walmart with the dish soap, dish sponges, and such.  The blue pads are there, too.

I've found the maroon and grey pads at the local paint store, a couple of bucks for a 6x9 pad that you can cut into six 3x2 pads.
