Med Dry
« on: December 17, 2006, 07:12:51 PM »
Currently, I'm using the Terminator stack leverage and a Yeah Baby, pin underneath ring finger.  The YB is my favorite ball, but I need oil, it's the second one I purchased.  What I need to know, for med - med dry lanes, which is better, the Big Bang R or the Buzz?  I'm a stroker, 16 mps, revs around 275 - 300. I'm very accurate in hitting my mark and making my spares, with high completion %.  My average is in the 220 range, in three different houses, all with different oil patterns.

If there are any suggestions, they would be appreciated!

Good luck in bowling.

"Elvis",
Try and use the web site to do some comparisons; the new web site is user-friend and does ball comparisons as well as giving ball specs ... that being said, for medium-light conditions, you can consider the Absolute Power, SatisfaXion, or maybe the BUZZ ... but the BUZZ is strong of the dry and is really for patterns that have "broken down" a bit and where you want to open the lanes up. For light to light-dry, the people at Legends designed the Straight Flush.
Now, you also need to consider layout and coverstock adjustment to "fight" the drier conditions, as well as hand position, ball speed, and maybe lofting the ball a bit to clear the heads if they're "burnt".
Sorry that this answer is general in nature but your question is much the same.
