Solid Strike Release
« on: December 15, 2009, 08:07:15 AM »
Finally!!! I got the Solid Strike in line for production!!!!

This is a Big Brother to the great Sure Strike. It has the same make up with one additive that makes it more aggressive earlier than the Sure Strike even in a polished condition. This is a Violet Pearl with great color. Comes with sheen finish and maximum hitting power. Please get to your pro shop and place a Pre-Order. We are shipping to distributors the week of the 28th of December. Thanks to the Lane Master faithful!!!  Happy Holidays.

I don't usually post results but here it goes.

Polished mine. Not as much pop as extreme but it didn't deflect either. I actually threw a couple of messengers Tuesday night in league. Haven't had a lot of messengers for awhile until drilled the 3 balls I have now. BD, XD, Solid (I didn't drill anything until November).

It's a good ball and I didn't need to change balls for the whole 3 games. That was nice and the ball got stronger as the night went on.

I'm liking this ball!!! Now with these 3 balls I have a complete aresenal. Each one of them do exactly what I designed them to do. Easily manage the coverstock to match your condition and hit hard in the back. Everyone can use these balls!!

Tony,

I hear rumors that there will be another limited run of the Masterpiece. Any idea when that might happen?

Ultimate Power Pending Approval Mid to Late January for a release date.

Rumors are great things to start gossip!!! What is a Masterpiece??
I have no idea what you are talking about. LOL

There is no truth to the rumor at this time but I will not say never.

Tony,

Can you put some number down for specs.?  There is no information on what lane condition this ball is for or anything else for that matter on your site or anywhere that I have seen.

Cover stock strength?  Where does it fit in the LM/L line-up?

Thanks!

Solid Strike

RG: 2.584
DIFF: .042
Cover - Reactive Pearl with sheen finish
flare: 5.25"
Core: Impact
Hardness:  74 - 75
Color Violet

Should react earlier than Sure Strike with all the hitting power.

Re-Releases are not scheduled at this time but all those matters will be discussed at our yearly meeting. I know a few who are in favor of it. I don't want to get out of control with number of releases either in the year. I think 4 to 6 is a great number to keep quality strong. Thanks everyone.

I threw mine in league last night! 192-266-223-681. The ball is drilled 5x4 which puts the pin over my middle finger and the cg just right of the midline. The Solid Strike is very smooth drilled this way for me. Very predictable with a lot of hitting power. Another great ball from LaneMasters!!
