Looks like Lane Masters is back!
« on: May 30, 2013, 01:46:22 PM »
In the June issue of BJI there is a half page ad for Lane Masters and Legends.  It says the website will be launched on June 17th.   Looks like a new company is being formed, California Bowling LLC,  in which Lane Masters and Legends will be a trademark of.  Tony Martin is associated with this company.  They will also be the exclusive distributors of Lord Field bowling products.

Welcome back Lane Masters!

So I guess someone else is pouring Legends label balls at the previous LM location on Alpine in Stockton? Or does our local pro shop have bad information? He seemed pretty specific about it.

Hello Everyone,

To clarify some points first:

1. We are not located at the old LM plant. I built a whole new facility that has room for expansion. We have no affiliation with any of the old company.

2. We have none of the old LM employees affiliated with us. We are starting fresh and I will have employees later.

3. California Bowling bought all trade names of Lane Masters/Legends through bankruptcy court.

4. I have 4 balls already approved at USBC. One I sold out over seas. I have another one in the works. I should have approval by July 1.

5. New releases here in states: 2 with the Dynasty Core(2 piece), 2 with all new cores including one asymetrical(3 piece) will be available when we open up.
No Bags or accessories yet. Just balls for now.

I am surprised the magazine got out already. I tried to keep this a secret as long as I could. Please look for a feature article in July explaining some of this.

For myself this is a brand new addition and start to something I love. I am now able to do the things I always wanted to before. Mix some of the old weight blocks and some new stuff as well. For all you Lane Masters faithful out there stay tuned. I promise to do my best for the brand.

Milo I would check your source again. You might have misunderstood them.

I will only state facts here and you read them.

Milo,

Maybe what you heard about is the new joint effort company called next gen bowling headed up by Fred Borden and Sam Baca?

That's entirely possible. Or the guy who mentioned it to me misunderstood the situation.

Glad to see Lane Masters is back. The latest USBC approved L/M balls are on a Korean site. They were called Perfect, Advantage, The Black Pearl-The Deep Sea, and Terminator Disaster. All the balls except the Perfect has California Bowling printed on the flyers.

Sure interested in the Black Pearl if that is one of the US releases.

Milo this is at least the second time you have been wrong on these boards about things that involve me and LM. Please do not spread any info unless you have seen things with your own eyes or got the info from me. I am available anytime you want confirmation.

You expect people to investigate info before they pass it on?
That would be the right way to do things and everyone knows that's not how it works in today's environment.
Good luck with the LM brand as I'm a fan of their equipment. Matter of fact I'm shipping three older LM's to Nationals Monday morning.
Thanks

I was contemplating buying the LF Higgs but now I will have to wait and see what L/M releases. I will be interested especially in the 2 new releases with the Dynasty core.
