One of the main guys I trust to recommend and drill bowlings balls have decided to give it up and pursue other interests, which leads me to looking for help here....

For the last 10 years or so I have average 200+ in 2 different leagues/houses and have 2 sanctioned 300's in the last 2 years.  One of my leagues decided to catch up to the times with all new synthetic lanes and load the oil up before my league for the travelling league afterwards.  Needless to say, I struggled somewhat last year finally closing out the year right at 200, but it was painful.

I am currently using a Hammer Big Rig Diesel and a down/in bowler.  I am only 34, avid weight lifter and like to throw the ball hard with minimal lane movements.  I prefer to adjustment my speeds or hand positions, not boards.  Crazy but I have done well.

I am looking for a ball that allows one to throw with high speed, but will come up strong.  Anyone similar that has a recommendation would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Ok, I just read a bunch of reviews on the Big Rig  Diesel and I have a sense what this ball is for and how it reacts. So, tell us:
- what kind of bowler are you, what are your release style and ball speed (there is nothing in your profile),
- how this ball is reacting,
- where and how you are using it, and
- how, in what way is it not getting the job done for you.

Then we can properly give you some potential suggestions.
Without the above info, any guesses are wild stabs in the dark.
