How does the Masterpiece compare to the Buzz and New Standard?
--------------------
You will not see me on the PBA Tour, but I love the game!!!

The MP hooks earlier and handles more oil than the Buzz; it's more of a control ball than the Buxx, but is not normally considered a control ball. While it is a resin pearl, it acts more like everyone else's particle pearl. The coverstock almost has to be used polished; if sanded, it is very early UNLESS you have a lot of ball speed. If you have average ball speed, it needs TRUE medium oil at a minimum to work properly.
The MP goes longer and has more backend than the NS; again it is neither a control ball not a skidflip ball, in and of itself. It handles less oil, WHEN both are in box condition. The NS is a true control ball.

This ball shines on broken down lane conditions, really nice 2nd shift ball.
