This is just a quick note on my first impressions of the Masterpiece I got from charlest, after getting the thumb hole plugged and redrilled I managed to get a couple of frames only on the ball before league on sunday, after a poor first game where I was struggling to get a consistant reaction I decided to give the Masterpiece a go. I will say though that my thumb hole was still in need of slight adjustment, however second game was a 232 and then followed with a 179 third game, splits in frames 8 & 10 stopped a possible 200+.
This ball skids easy through the first 40' then sets up and makes a hard but controlled move left it has a very good hit at the pocket and has excellent pin action, now I've sorted out the thumb hole I'm looking forward to giving it a proper go.I'm impressed with what I've seen so far and will definately be looking at Legends balls in the future, thanks again to Jeff for the ball and I'm hoping santa might be feeling generous this year

Alan,
A used Masterpiece is what got me started on the "L/LM" brand last fall, and although I don't have a Masterpiece in my arsenal any longer, I saw enough in it that I started buying others ... now I'm total converted over the Legends and Lane Masters equipment since this past spring and about as "brand loyal" as they come !!!
BTW ... check out my profile for the latest balls, layouts, etc.
Enjoy and bowl well !!!

Glad it seems to have worked for you, Alan.
Please "give it a go" a few more times to insure how you feel about it. The balls will always be available; rash decisions live with us for a long time.
