I am currently using Columbia and Track but with recent developments i am looking at other companies.

I will be getting my first Lanemasters ball[Terminator] and would like to know how this ball reacts on a ths shot.I plan to drill it 3 3/8 by 3 3/8.

My pap is 5 7/8 up 1.Speed is between 15 and 17 mph.I am a tweener with a decent amount of revs.The ths shot is oiled 37 feet and the amount of oil amounts to a medium shot.I usually slide on twenty and send the ball out to the 11 board.

I am wondering if the Terminator is to strong for this shot.

My feelings are:

Unless you have an extra-oily house shot, I am very doubtful that such a strongly drilled Terminator would work for a tweener with good revs.
OR UNLESS your ball speed is a lot higher than you indicate.

The Terminator is polished but it is also a relatively high flaring, strong covered, solid particle. Even in box surface, it is more for medium-heavy oiled patterns. Most THS patterns have medium amounts of oil at best.

A "tweener's decent amount of revs" with a fully leveraged drill will flare about 5" - 6" worth, on this ball.

Everybody's results are slightly different; so I'd go ahead and try it, as long as you have it. I'd be sure to bring a backup ball, just in case. If it works, great. If not, you probably now have a very good Legends/LM medium-heavy ball, AND you can try another ball like the World Class Reactive, the Big-R-Bang or the Masterpiece for medium oil lanes.
