Barry,
I've also found the core differences between 15 and 16 lbs balls (may) require entirely different drillings to get the same ball reaction, ball path and oil handling ability. I've had 16 lb-ers react very different and negatively from desirable 15 lb balls, and have had 15 lb balls react different from 16s.

Charlest thanks for the great insight i will keep this in mind if a great deal in a 16 lb ball comes up that i like in 15 lb. I have never thought of this being the case, i can tell you one thing the 16 legend Big Bang hits harder than anything else i have thrown ever. The 15 lb Legends/Lane Masters hit great too but that extra pound of core weight is amazing, the Big Bang crushes the rack. If you dig up my old post about it you will see i said that i left not a single 10 pin which might be the 16 lb difference for me. I hit the pocket at least 80 percent of the time, so maybe my carry percentage will rise up to mid 60 percent area, i am probably at 48-52 percent right now by guessing i get tapped all night long no matter what ball i throw. I had 8 taps in a row a few weeks back never missing the pocket making small moves, i would leave corners then 4 pins and no matter what it did not matter. I believe the ball never gets into a full roll and i get tapped even though i hit the pocket, i can split boards if needed but my carry is below average. This might be a great mistake to happen to me, i might have figured out why i am getting tapped with sometimes great hits.
