Where's the love for the XS Power
« on: August 01, 2008, 01:48:07 PM »
Drilled this ball stacked and took the coverstock to 1000 grit abralon and it's money on on heavier mediums. Put this ball with my Sure Strike with a simple label drill, and I think I am going to have a tremendous 1-2 punch for most of the league conditions in league this fall. Ball just seems to be underrated here and I am not sure why. Price point is "Bang for the Buck"

XS Power is a ball and a half. Smooth, strong arc and has the great Legends/LaneMasters pin carry. I'd say that the OOB finish and 1000 Abralon are a little too strong, unless you see alot of oil. At 2000 Abralon it saves energy a little better, but it seems to be more versatile at that surface than any other surface.

The ball is the best kept secret around.  I am amazed we do not hear more about this ball.  I have 2 of them and they are tremendous.  It is one of those balls that keeps you out of trouble because there is no hard snap off the dry, just a smooth rolling arc and LM pin blasting hit..

The XS Power is so consistent.  Even when you hit this ball more the necessary it does not jump on you.  Very forgiving.  The cover is so versatile too.  I've had it from 500 abralon to 4000.  It work best for me at 1000 grit abralon.  This ball along with my Black Pearl Reactive are my two favorite Lane Masters balls.  Burn a path on a fresh shot with my XSP and then open the lane up with my BPR.
