I was running into a true flood a few weeks back and decided to sand down to 1k abby a few balls and go test them side by side.
I had the following balls out there side by side:
Ebonite NVD pin over ring 4 1/2 and mb at 5 inches next to my thumb hole, ball still had decent length and pretty good movement overall it would be 8.5/10 for hit and ball motion.
Columbia EPX-A1 yes the A1 pin under ring and cg out 3/4 of inch, right around 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 area. Ball revs up good make a nice move to the pocket good ball could use it more but not a flood ball like advertised. 8.5/10
Storm Dimension pin over ring 4 1/2 pin to pap and cg below around 4 1/4 area, ball hooks pretty good at 1k makes it look closer to the Cell. Hits well and always turned hard off the friction, It would rank 9/10 with me on heavy oiled shots.
Now to the King of the test the beast from the West sorry not the east lol
NS2 pin over ring 4 1/2 and cg below at 4 1/4 mirror drilling of the Dimension, ball was outhooking any of these other balls by you read this right 8-9 total boards. It starts and looks like it is going to roll out by never does it hooks and hooks, made me look like i was a cranker I could not actually believe my eyes that this ball is that dang strong with the polish knocked off of it.
So even though it is old technology by a few years it is amazing Oil Ball, hit was great and ball always made the corner. It would rank at 9.5/10 on a true oil shot, so take it for what it is worth a old versus new ball test done fairly by a crappy league bowler that no one would want on any dang staff haha
