Spoke to Galen and he said that the NS2 is an early revving ball and that a length drilling is not a good idea; at least not for somebody like me that has a high speed low rev style. He asked me if the ball still hooks having it drilled for length.
His recommendation for me is to put a 31/32", 1" deep weight hole 1" past my PAP to get it to rev earlier. Probably do this soon.
So I guess the ruling on the NS2 is don't drill it for length if your a stroker and call Galen and get his opinion on drilling it for your style.

I concur with Justin here; Galen is very willing to provide advise, and is The MAN when it comes to layouts(if you can provide the info that he needs - PAP, ball speed, revs, axis tilt and rotation), as well as coverstock adjustments and locating weight holes to "tweak" a ball's reaction; he's on the West coast (Cali) and can be reached at 1-888-526-3645. Wanna "master" the lanes ??? Be a "legend" and try LEGENDS/LaneMasters !!!!

I recieved an NS2 second hand and redrilled it 4" pin to PAP with the C.G. right beside my thumb and a low deep weighthole on a line 4 1/2" at a 45 degree angle from the center of grip. The NS2 revs off of the hand so much that it will have you looking like you have an extra 75rpms off the hand or at least that's how it is in my case. It reminds me alot of the old school Danger Zone, and how strong it was back in the day, just on today's oils. The NS2 is very versatile despite it revving up so hard so early. I was able to get it to recover from deep inside without losing energy at the lanes broke down through 7 games. Since getting back into the game after 3 months with a hand injury, this is one of the three balls I've drilled up and is easily my strongest, yet most versatile. I'm looking forward to trying future legends/lanemasters releases. They are gaining alot of popularity in my area.
