NS2 Questions?
« on: December 30, 2018, 09:07:16 AM »
I recently purchased a NIB NS2 from Don Coyote( Great person to Deal with :) ).
For those that have had this ball, I have a general question on the cover. I polished mine after drilling. I like the reaction, great control piece! But the cover does not seem to be squeaky like my original Yeah Baby. It is almost "Fuzzy" feeling. Is this due to the higher particle load? Thank you

Yes, it has a heavy load of diamond particles vs. the original New Standard's light load.
The Yeah Baby also had a heavy load of diamond particles. I had to play the YB 5 boards inside of the New Standard. (For me, no ball since has ever hit as hard as these two beauties from the original Lane Masters.)

When I polished the NS2, it made a left turn on a good amount of oil (due to the heavy load of particles).

All three of these, YB, NS and NS2, are money in the bank. Speed dominant players need not apply, due to their high RG cores.

Did you ever throw the blue World Class?  From what I understand its right up there as well even if doesn't have the diamond particles.

Had one, the solid blue one (there was also a pearl, I believe); didn't like it. It was nothing at all like these balls. It was very early and had a ball path like an old fashioned curve for me. I gave up on it and sold it. I'd guess it was a heavy oil ball for me and my delivery and I never see/saw that much oil.

Thanks.  Kind of what I figured (being early) but hey price was right ($80 shipped already plugged) so thought I would try a Lane Masters ball and heard some liked that ball.  Guess no rush to punch it up but will try it eventually as might match up for me.
