Black Pearl question
« on: October 12, 2006, 10:57:26 AM »
My Terminator is great for heavy to heavy medium oil, and my buzz is great for broken down, medium to light oil... But my Big Bang is kind of to close to my Terminator, and checks up early alot... and so I was thinking about drilling a black pearl strong.

Was thinking that I wanted to drill a New Standard or Black Pearl.. and since the cores are the same and the New Standard needs help through the heads some times, that the Black pearl would be a great medium oil ball... when my terminator starts rolling early.

Is the Black Pearl strong enough for true medium oil?  And that judging from my profile, can suit me?

Balls for this winter season:

Terminator - Stacked - Heavy to medium oil
Big Bang - Stacked - Medium oil
Buzz - 1:30 Label - Medium to light oil
XXXL - Stacked -  Spare ball

Big R Bang - Coming soon!

"HoG",
I'd be VERY surprised if it wasn't ... I have my drilled "stacked" and it seems to be good fot medium to lighter higher volumes of oil; and the NS is a very good control ball OOB.

Is the Black Peral stronger than the Buzz?

I know its partical which should give it strength and recovery in the break zone, but is the ball stronger?

I've heard the BP is only a tad weaker than the "T", but with twice the flare potential.    That's why I'm going with the B-R-B.

A tad weaker than the Terminator... come on dude, thats totally rediculous...

Terminator is duo load solid partical with a strong core.

Guess i'm just gonna have to drill a black pearl up and see.

IMHO, yes ... the BP is "stronger" than the BUZZ; but as you said (and know) you're talking reactive versus particle pearl and with different cores ... the BUZZ needs dry to kick off of whereas the BP and it's cover will handle more oil, for sure.

I LOVE it !!! My new favorite ball; my "go to" ball, benchmark and starting ball.
For a particle pearl ball, this ball is VERY strong off the corner; I'd think that this would be a nice compliment to the BUZZ ... one having a particle reaction and the other a reactive resin turn off the dry.
