Alright...after two years of toying with the idea, I might try a Legends/Lanemasters ball.  After all, I have a soft spot for symmetrical cores and particle coverstocks.

My question, though, is which one --

Big Bang, World Class, or Terminator?

I'm looking for something to combat harder medium-heavy conditions, i.e., a collegiate sport shot, Nationals, regional patterns, etc.  Versatile, but still able to recover a bit, is what I want.

Right now, I just want to talk about ball characteristics, not about drilling or surface prep; besides, its not like I am horrible at laying out balls myself.  All my personal stats are in my profile.

Just looking for some opinions!

By the way Laybzz74...the collegiate singles sectional that I am bowling in this year is in Fairview Heights, so you might be able to help me more than anyone else.  I have bowled there before (IHSA state tournaments) and done ok...but never great...suggestions, perhaps?

 FWIW, my BP is plenty strong in the OOB state ... I normally have to put it away before a full three game series is completed; today was a good example of that ... 275, 248 and then two splits in the first four frames of game 3(big four and 4-9) before changing to a 1000 abralon Yeah Baby with no polish, and finished with a 184 and a 707 series (brain fart/operator error).
 Good news is that 184 was the first non-deuce of 12 games since last Monday and all my opens, except for one whiffed 10 pin, have been splits; the latest "mini-slump" is history.

Black
Pearl: 3 oz TW (NIB), 3 1/2" pin, 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 layout, cg 3/8" above midline,
       pin above & right of the ring,  OOB, no WH

Yeah
Baby: 3 oz TW (NIB), 4 1/8 pin, 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 layout, cg on midline,
      pin on gripline and 4" above midline, 1000 abralon, no polish, no WH
