Power stroke wrist support

Has anybody seen or tried this brace? It looks like your wrist doesn't get locked into place from moving forward, just backward. If so, then I have only seen one other that lets you do this and I might be inclined to try it despite the price.

if im not mistaken but those are spring loaded to help develop lift on the ball. Our pro shop had a couple of those a while ago.

JShiff,

     You are right about it being spring loaded, that is noted on their website, but they say it is adjustable. I would not like it if you were forced to come forward by the spring, just be able to have the option of coming through on your own. Hopefully someone on here will have some more info on it.

For $75 for a wrist support, it should be gold plated.

Understood. For some, definitely not worth it. For me, I'd rather spend $75 on something I can use and that works, then $40 for something I won't use and that doesn't work as well. I have purchased other positioners in the past for $35-$45, and ended up selling them at a loss or giving them away. IMO, that is more expensive than paying $75 for something that works well when I need it.

But then, I'd rather pay $20 for a delicious steak dinner at Outback than $8 for a hamburger combo meal that doesn't taste very good, and I don't finish it. The $8 seems more a waste to me. Yeah, the steak cost more than twice as much, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and none of it went to waste.

Yes, of course. That goes without saying. Kind of surprised that you didn't test some of those $40 wrist devices before committing to buying them. My pro shop lets people try them, as many as needed, before their buying the one that works for them. Yes, many pro shops don't stock everything.

Since "there's nothing new under the sun," and while very few Lanemasters balls are duplicated by other manufacturers, I am surprised that some version of that Lm device is not available elsewhere.
